Ok, so it's not really spring-ish today, it's snowing! Crazy Oregon Weather. It was sunny and 80 just a couple of days ago and now there's snow piling up on my car. Go figure! LOL!

I had to give you all an update, things have been very crazy and very busy, but also very wonderful!

The last journal I did was just before a big interview. Well, it went great and I got the job. It even started at more money than I was expecting! Praise the LORD!!!! It started out on a trial basis for three months. Now I've been there three months and just this week, my boss told me I've done a really great job and I'm being hired on permanently and I'm getting my first raise. (it's going to be a big one!) What an amazing blessing! Not only is it a good job and great money for this area, but I also love it! It's challenging and intense, but it's so much fun!

We were also looking at having to move just after I started working and I was a little bummed, I had such a hard time finding the right place for us, in the right school district, that also allowed us to have our dogs. God is good though, and I finally found the perfect home for us. It's beautiful, large, new, perfectly located and has immense natural light so that I can create lovely art there! YEA!!!! On top of all that, it's the perfect price so I can easily afford it since I'm bringing home a good paycheck. Wooooooooo Hoooooooooooo!

We did just have a pretty big scare. Zeus, our rotweiller, an amazing dog and a big part of our little family, had a growth show up on him recently. When we had it removed it came back that it was cancer. But so far, there's no evidence that it spread, it looks like we got it in time, PRAISE GOD! He's home now and recovering nicely. He'll even have a nice big scar to make him look tough, even though he's a big baby! LOL! We're continuing to pray for him for a complete recovery and a complete absence of cancer in his whole body.

Well, I'm so happy to be able to share so much joyful news with you, my e-friends! I must be off, I've got paint calling to me.......

Yes, I've also officially become addicted to oil painting! LOL! If you haven't checked it out yet, have a look at 'Radiant Joy' she's my first oil painting! I think once you see her you'll understand why I'm in love with oils!
